Victorian Scissors Case, c.1840 

This beautiful scissors case was reproduced and stitched by Jennett Whiteside from an early scissors case owned by Threads of Gold. Instructions are given for stitching and assembling.

Stitch count is 65 by 143.

Our model was stitched on 36 count Edinborough, cut 12 by 24 inches. The design size is 3.6 by 8 inches.

Threads required are au Ver a Soie 1713, 1716, 2924, 2243, 3831, 3722, 1712, 4644, and 4643 plus Needlepoint, Inc. silk 296, 221, 222, 404, and 124. DMC equivalents are also given.
