This "Sailor's Huswif" includes a rolled holder measuring 19 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches (unrolled, shown front and back), and a case in which it may be stowed (at left), measuring 11 1/2 by 7 1/4 inches. The items as shown are stitched on 36 count Irish linen, resulting in the above measurements. It may be stitched either with DMC cotton floss or soie d'Alger silk.
