This design was inspired by antique needlework accessories seen at the Museum of York County, Rock Hill, South Carolina. It is worked on 34 count Devonshire Cream Legacy Linen. A piece 16 by 19 inches is required. Threads used are Accentuate MMA #123 Medium Green Metallic, and Au Ver a Soie as follows: Soie De Paris #2125 and 2116, Soie D'Alger 112, 2534, and 526, and Soie 100/3 #392. Detailed instructions and drawings are included for stitching and for finishing.
